
About the Course
The Fiqh of Ramaḍān is an essential course that provides a comprehensive understanding of the jurisprudence (fiqh) related to the holy month of Ramaḍān. Drawing directly from the Qurʾān, Sunnah, and classical Ḥanafī fiqh, this workshop equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to fulfil their religious duties correctly and meaningfully throughout Ramaḍān.

• Understand the objectives and spiritual essence of fasting (ṣawm).
• Learn the rules, conditions, and invalidators of fasting.
• Explore the virtues and etiquettes of suḥūr (pre-dawn meal) and ifṭār (breaking fast).
• Gain clarity on medical and practical matters that affect fasting.
• Study the structure and significance of Tarāwīḥ prayers.
• Learn about Iʿtikāf (spiritual retreat); its conditions, rewards, and how to perform it correctly.
• Understand the rulings on Ṣadaqat al-Fiṭr, fidyah, and kaffārah.
• Learn the sunnah practices of ʿĪd, including ʿĪd ṣalāh, etiquette, and celebration within Islamic guidelines.
