Question:
There’s a shampoo (leave on treatment for 5 mins) which has Laurdimonium hydroxypropylanimal collagen, some sources say it is derived from animal bovine hide but there’s doubt in the exact source, So, is it okay to use or would it be considered Najis (impure)?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
If some sources claim it is derived from animal sources but there is doubt, the ruling will be to abstain from it until confirmation that it is from non-animal sources is received. You could contact the manufacturer directly to enquire about the ingredient’s source.
